Charles S. Foster, Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer

• Prior to joining Structured Investment Management, Charles Foster accumulated over 17 years of experience in investment banking and structured finance, nine as a Managing Director. During that period, he advised on and originated/executed transactions with a value in excess of $250 billion.
• In his most recent prior employment, he was instrumental in building an investment banking business in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications(TMT) sectors as Managing Director at Barclay's Capital where he was responsible for providing corporate finance advisory, integrated risk management, and capital raising expertise to multi-national corporate clients, and to US middle-market firms.
• Prior to Barclay's Capital, he was a Managing Director in the Corporate and Investment Bank at Citigroup in TMT and Global Capital Structuring, a specialist product group focusing on tax, accounting, and regulatory arbitrage technologies.
• Mr. Foster also held positions with Citicorp Securities (Sponsor & Acquisition Finance, and Latin America Restructuring) and Citibank Canada (Corporate Real Estate).
• Mr. Foster is a graduate of the University of British Columbia, with a Bachelor's Degree in History. He earned an MBA from the University of Toronto and holds Series 7, 63, and 24 registrations with the NASD.
